Mi Historia No Ha Terminado

Desiree Rodriguez is an Eisner award winning editor, writer and journalist. Desiree has written short stories for DC Comics and Power and Magic Press, in the anthologies Ricanstruction and Manana. She was one of the head editors for Lion Forge’s Catalyst Prime Universe, working closely with Gail Simone to curate a wide range of comics. She also edited the Spanish version of Jamila Rowser’s successfully funded Kickstarter comic Wash Day. Desiree was also a long term writer for Women Write About Comics and Nerds of Color. 

Desiree has been featured as a voice on Latinx representation in media in outlets such as: The Washington PostUS TodayThe Nerds of Color, and Color Web Magazine. She’s also been a featured guest on episodes of Graphic Policy Radio and Hard NOC and has been interviewed by: SyFy WireGeek MomBlack Comics ChatComicosityPreviewsWorldBleeding Cool, and The Outhousers

In 2018 she was a co-editor for the charity anthology Puerto Rican Strong that centered around various historical fiction stories about the island to raise awareness for Puerto Rican pride, culture, and history. Puerto Rico Strong was nominated for a Diamond Gem Award, and has been included on various top lists for educational graphic novels including CBC Books. In 2019 Puerto Rico Strong was nominated and won the Eisner Award for Best Anthology.
